(for healing, attraction, renewal, and reclamation)
There comes a moment when the heart grows tired of waiting for someone else to see its light.
So you turn inward. You gather the pieces of yourself scattered in other people’s hands.
You remember that you are the altar, the offering, and the answered prayer.
This spell is for that moment, when you’re ready to release what hurt, reclaim your softness,
and return your power to its rightful place: with you.
I lost the most important people in my life, so I became the most important person in my life.
When you have yourself, you lack nothing — and God carries the rest.
Earlier in the evening, I talked to my Nana, her wisdom has a way of finding me at the perfect time. She reminded me that happiness has to come from within. She’s lived enough to know: marriage, divorce, rebuilding, rediscovering. She said she once depended on a man, but life taught her to depend on herself. Now she walks in her freedom with her peace intact. She's 80 years young.
She told me she enjoys men’s company, but most of them aren’t worth the trouble. She has her joy, her kids, her grandkids. A full life on her own terms. I hung up thinking, that’s the kind of woman I want to grow into, steady, sound, soft, and sure.
After our call, I felt pulled toward ritual.
Not to call anyone in, but to center myself.
I lit a white candle for clarity and a pink one for compassion. I mixed salt, cinnamon, Florida water, and honey in a small glass bowl. Washed my hands in it and whispered:
“I am happy. I am whole. I am free.”
Then I wrote down my releases, the patterns, the energies, the attachments that no longer belong to me. I folded the paper away, knowing I was sealing a chapter, not avoiding one.
When I looked in the mirror afterward, it wasn’t about reassurance but it was about alignment.
I spoke the affirmations because they felt true in my body:
“You are beautiful.”
“You are safe.”
“You are loved.”
“You are magnetic.”
“You are home.”
Not to convince myself, but to honor myself.
My intention that night was simple: to free my spirit from what drains it, to decenter men who do not contribute to my peace, and to remember — as always — that I am the prize.
Partnership is beautiful when it’s aligned, patient, and supportive. But even without it, I am whole, radiant, and held.
This spell wasn’t dramatic or desperate.
It was grounding.
It was clarity. It was me taking inventory of my own energy and bringing it back into alignment.
If aligned love finds me, good, may it meet me where I already stand: rooted, healed, glowing. And if not, I’ll still wake up tomorrow held by God, my ancestors, and myself ,still soft, still sovereign, and still whole.
Because the real magic is this: A woman who knows she is already enough -- before the spell, during the spell, and long after it fades.
