Unblocked & Untouchable

(A petty affirmation poem by the baddest bitch healing beautifully)

I am so unblocked in every way —unblocked in my glow, my greatness, my goddess energy.

I radiate so hard, they need sunglasses just to think of me.

I’m not “that girl.” I am this woman. The full-course meal, not the sample tray. The divine disruption, not the placeholder. The fantasy, the prayer, the lesson, the missed blessing.

Trying to remix flavor with mediocrity —

Settled down with those who weren’t even half of me.

It’s not a place to compete, but I won so easily.

I gave so freely…now you rolling around with misfits and wannabes.

She’s a soft whisper in plain tones —I’m the thunderstorm that grows gardens. She’s beige — I’m aurora borealis.

I ain’t bitter,

but I am feeling it.

Damn — should’ve never let you hit.

But I did… and you folded.

Played poker with a queen and got mad when I called your bluff.

Let them sip lukewarm tea while I bathe in honey and stormwater.

Let them fumble me — I am not breakable, I am unforgettable.

She may be nice, but I am necessary.

She may have you now, but I had you feel.

And one day, when the mirror gets clearer, they’ll realize…

you can’t replace magic with mediocrity.
