The Day I Lost You

8:32 is when God called for you

A deep darkness filled the inside of me

A greatest pain causing my soul to weep

My heart to shatter into a million pieces

My heart been broke before

But this a new kinda hurt

Like this a new kinda war

I look for you every time I open a door

Where did you go?

Why did you leave?

I got these feelings in my heart

But sometimes it get dark

Saw my mom take her last breath

That was the day I saw death

Now I’m wondering what’s life

Like, where and what’s the rest?

I am much more than my emotions

I am much more than what I show them

I am much more than what I feel

No matter how real

I know some of yall know the deal

It’s ok to have loved and have lost

It’s ok to not be ok and fall off

But I’m thankful for the life that’s inside me

One day I know that my pain will guide me
