A Space For Me

I’m creating a space for myself where love flows freely,

Where pride is absent and feelings are expressed gently.

I’m creating a space for myself where peace runs deep,

Where the darkness in my mind has cleared, and I finally breathe free.

I’m creating a space for myself where I can simply be,

True to who I am, loving whomever and whatever openly.

I’m creating a space for myself, a vast expanse to grow,

Where there is room enough for me—

Just to be.
